We invite curators to respond to this open call for curatorial proposals. There is no criteria nor deadline but we ask that your proposal is tailored to the space. Digital or online components are also welcome. A maximum of four proposals per year will be presented. Our goal is to support curators in the presentation of independently-designed exhibitions. NAMARA Project Space shall act as host venue, extending promotional support within our network. We also look forward to entering into dialogue with curators, with the goal of mutual-learning. While provisions for sale of work are not required, NAMARA PS can facilitate sales with commissions to be agreed upon in advance. Please indicate if works are available for purchase.
The NAMARA projects space is located on the ancestral and traditional territories of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Haudenosaunee, the Anishnaabe and the Huron-Wendat, the original owners and custodians of this land. Today, this place is home to many including a diverse urban Indigenous community of Inuit, First Nations and Métis.
